Welcome

Our ultimate goal is to provide the very best individualized healthcare to each of our patients. Pediatric Associates of Alexandria, Inc. has served Northern Virginia, parts of Maryland and the Washington D.C. area for over 50 years. With 16 providers and over 45 staff members, we are able to provide total healthcare for children, from infancy through adolescence and on to college. We make it a priority to establish an open, cooperative relationship with parents, involving them in the decision-making for the well-being of their child, our patient. We strive to make each visit a positive experience. Visit us before your baby is born for a prenatal visit with one of our providers.

Pediatric Associates is committed to being accessible to serve all of your child's health care needs. We believe that your child's medical home is the best place to receive healthcare, whenever possible. We begin each day at 6:00am Monday through Friday; and close at 8:00pm Monday through Thursday; 5 pm on Friday. Open walk-in hours are 6:00 am to 6:30 am, Monday through Friday for our established patients. We also have Saturday morning hours, beginning at 8 am until 12 noon by appointment only.

The AAP and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in two separate guidelines, recommended that children should use rear-facing car seats until age 2 and that those age 12 and below should ride in the back seat. The AAP said in its recommendation, published in Pediatrics, that parents should switch to rear-facing car seats that can support heavier children up to age 2 when their child outgrows the weight limits on an infant car seat.
