Abigail Spires, CFNP

Abigail (Abby) Spires has been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since July 2023. Abby earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, in 2018. She began her career in the Burn/Trauma ICU at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Abby felt a calling to return to school and focus on outpatient care in the pediatric setting. She pursued her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Georgetown University, aligning her expertise with her passion for working with children. Abby started her FNP career at Sacoto Pediatrics in Falls Church, VA, where she became semi-fluent in medical Spanish. Abby thrives on building meaningful connections with her patients and their families and fostering an environment of trust and open communication.

Abby currently lives in Arlington and is thrilled to be a part of the PAA team. Outside of work, she enjoys running and yoga. She is an avid traveler, enjoys skiing, and treasures moments spent with her family and friends.
