Arielle Griffin, LCSW

Arielle Griffin is originally from Jacksonville, FL. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of West Florida. She then continued to graduate school where she earned her Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Arielle completed her final graduate internship in the Neuroscience department at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Prior to joining Pediatric Associates of Alexandria, she worked as a Psychotherapist facilitating Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient group therapy. Arielle also has experience working as a Case Manager in Labor and Delivery/NICU in the acute inpatient hospital setting. Additionally, she has worked as a private practice clinician conducting individual sessions, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment modalities.
Arielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist. Her clinical interests include Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, meditation and yoga, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Arielle lives in Northern Virginia with her fiancée and their German Shepherd.
