Alecia (Allie) George, MD

Dr. Allie George was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, where she majored in Biomedical Science and minored in Spanish. She earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her Pediatric Residency at Texas Children's Hospital. She worked there in the emergency department before beginning her career in primary care. She then spent four years working as a general pediatrician in Atlanta, Georgia before joining Pediatric Associates of Alexandria in 2024.

Dr. George is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the medical staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Inova Alexandria Hospital. Her special interests include vaccine advocacy, infant care, sports medicine, and caring for children with special needs. She speaks Spanish and enjoys working with a diverse patient population.

Dr. George lives in Alexandria with her husband, two children, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, college football (Gig 'em, Aggies!), playing softball, and indoor rock climbing.
