Jean He, MPH, MD

Dr. Jean He was born in Morgantown, WV but grew up in many states across the country from RI to WA, before spending most of her childhood in VA and graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She then attended Johns Hopkins University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. She received her Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she also obtained her Master’s in Public Health. Dr. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Throughout her education, Dr. He has enjoyed being a mentor in the community. She is a Big Sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and has also spent time volunteering in both elementary and high school classrooms. She knew she wanted to move back to her community in Northern Virginia and completed her medical training at INOVA Fairfax Children’s Hospital, where she is now a member of the medical staff. Her clinical interests include childhood development, allergies, asthma, and encouraging adolescents to take an active role in managing their own health.
Dr. He enjoys weekend dim sum, reading, cafes, and is a Washington Spirit soccer fan.
