Eileen Mood, CPNP, IBCLC

Eileen Counihan Mood was born and raised in Greenville, SC. She was raised in a large family and has the distinction of being a first-generation US Citizen.
After completing a nursing degree in 1996, Eileen worked for five years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. In the NICU, she worked as part of the resuscitation team and on the grief counseling committee. In 2001, Eileen became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She worked for a large pediatric practice in Miami, FL, before joining PAA in 2007. Eileen is Board Certified by the National Certification Board of Registered Nurse Practitioners. She has received a Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University, a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters of Nursing Science from Georgia State University. Eileen became qualified as a Lactation educator; in 2009 and received her board certification in 2017 with the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants.
With her husband Shawn, Eileen is proud to have four young children; Aidan, Evie, Maeve, and Liam. She stays active in the community by serving as President of the local Moms' Club. When not organizing carpools and play-dates, she enjoys exercise, chess, and moments of quiet.
