Kelley Shirron, CPNP
Kelley is a native of Bloomfield, NJ. She received her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech in 2007. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing Practice from Columbia University. After graduation, Kelley moved to the DMV and spent 2 years in primary care before working at Children’s National Medical Center in the Department of Gastroenterology from 2012-2019, where she worked as the inpatient consult coordinator. Kelley is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
She is well-known to be a strong advocate for patients and families and helps to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to complex patients. Her nursing background helps her to focus on patient and family education.
In her free time, Kelley and her husband participate in High Performance Driving Events with the Porsche Club of America and BMW Car Club, as well as spend time hiking and camping with their 2 year old son and rescue dog, Stout.
