Leslie Mosteller, PA-C
Leslie Mosteller was born in New York and raised in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Texas, and Charleston, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Pre-Medicine from Davidson College in North Carolina. At Davidson, she was a Bonner Service Leadership Scholar and developed a passion for public health while serving on the leadership team of the Concord Free Clinic and working for the Children’s Defense Fund and Pan American Health Organization here in DC.
Upon graduating from Davidson, she was awarded the Ambassadorial Scholarship through Rotary International to study public health and communication, earning her Master of Arts in Health Communication at the University of Sydney in Australia. Upon completing her degree, Leslie returned to Charleston to work on several community development and public health projects, including writing curriculum for a global clean water initiative, establishing free clinics in low income elementary schools, and working in health informatics at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Leslie moved to DC for PA school, earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from George Washington University in 2016. She loves working with pediatric patients and worked in the Emergency Department at Children’s National for two years prior to joining PAA in July 2018. She is board certified through the NCCPA and holds licensure in DC and Virginia.
Leslie has special interest in global and community health and has served on community health projects in the Dominican Republic, Peru, Australasia, and, most recently, in Uganda. She lives in Arlington with her husband. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring the DC food scene. She is excited to be a member of the PAA team!
